House of Suntory – Yamazaki 55 Launch
Working alongside our good friends PR agency Hope & Glory, we created a one-night special whisky tasting for the launch of their new Yamazaki 55-year-old whisky which is priced at $60K.
An immersive experience for media at a venue in London that transported them to the forest filled foothills of Mount Tennōzan, home of the Yamazaki Distillery. Invitations were hand calligraphed and sent to media.
The night started with cocktails made with Suntory Whisky, and introduction by their Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo, to the history of the brand and the inspiration behind the Yamazaki 55. Guests enjoyed whisky tasting before the unveiling of the much-anticipated new addition and were able to get a first taste of the Yamazaki 55. This was followed by a five-course menu inspired by Mount Tennōzan and the Japanese seasons, starting with Black truffle Chawanmushi, miso truffle foam and ended with Matcha ‘Mille Feuille’… and a complimenting cocktail for each course.
